Why now?

1. Realization

Throughout the years we have witnessed many negative patterns in other women and ourselves:

Self criticism Lack of confidence Pressure to be perfect Taking on too much Necessity of male approval Disconnection with one's authentic self

2. Reality

We dug deep to understand the facts that represent where women are today.

Women are
merely 3% of Fortune
500 CEOs.
65%
of American
women &
girls have
an eating
disorder.
Women hold only 3%
of clout positions in the mainstream media.
Women professionals, intellectuals and athletes
are underrepresented in media while women who are young, sexual and beautiful are omnipresent.
Rates of depression among women & young girls have doubled in the past ten years.
The number of cosmetic surgical procedures performed on youth 18 or younger more than tripled from 1997 TO 2007.
of women
are abused by a partner during
their lifetime in
the U.S.

3. Revolution

Whether conciously or not it is impossible to deny that these forces affect our perceptions, beliefs and day to day existence. However, once aware of these influences, women who expose themselves to empowerment messages, strong female role models and tools for personal growth are not only more likely to realize their full potential, they are ultimately more likely to transform our culture for the betterment of all women and the world.
