  • ON Leadership

Q: What are 3 characteristics that you believe define great leadership?

    A: Vision, strength, and humility.

  • ON Entrepreneurship

Q: What’s your best advice for an entrepreneur in an early/bootstrapping phase? Or in a growth/need to ‘now scale’ phase?

A: You have to know that giving up is not an option.

  • ON Vision

Q: I love the quote “the bigger the vision, the smaller the first step”. Right now, what is the big vision you have for your career?

A: In both of my careers (art and wellness), I strive to influence and excite others to live healthy and inspiring lives.

  • ON Vision

Q: It’s hard to focus on the “big picture” sometimes because we can get caught in the weeds of work and life. When does visioning come clearest or easiest for you? Or what inspires your vision?

A: My vision is a product of many things because ideas come to me in many forms. Whether traveling, engaging in interesting conversations, or on my yoga mat, I am always absorbing ideas that I later draw from.

  • ON Branding

Q: What do you feel separates your brand from your competitors?

A: Tumeric® ALIVE is a functional beverage- a concept that is brand new to the marketplace. Furthermore, Tumeric® ALIVE offers a unique blend of health benefits that provide a distinct edge over the competition.

  • ON Mentoring

Q: Who has been your greatest mentor(s)?

A: My mom has been my greatest mentor. She has taught me how to live in the present, celebrate life, and to go after my dreams.

  • ON Mentoring

Q: If you had the opportunity to give advice to your younger self at say the age 13, what would you say?

A: Stay true to yourself and persevere.

  • ON Happiness

Q: What are you most passionate about, and how do you incorporate it into your career or everyday life?

A: I am most passionate about changing the world, and that materializes in a variety of different ways. Even beyond that, I surround myself with passionate people who also want to affect change. I gravitate towards those who are never afraid to be bold, march to the beat of their own drum and celebrate who they are.

  • ON Giving Back

Q: Can you share with us an experience of giving that was extremely rewarding or transformational?

A: When I was in college, I volunteered in the pediatric intensive care unit at Dartmouth Hospital in New Hampshire. While volunteering there, I met some of the most fragile, beautiful children I’ve ever seen. Just being there was extremely special, but one day a child told me that I was his angel. It was probably one of the most moving experiences of my life.

  • ON Giving Back

Q: What cause(s) have you chosen to support and why does it resonate with you?

A: I support a wide array of different causes, each for a different reason. When you think about it, there really aren’t a lot of bad causes out there, so I think that it’s ultimately just about finding organizations and causes where you think that you can make the greastest impact. In the past, I’ve been involved with charities that help fight human trafficking, draw awareness to bullying, shelter abandoned children, and promote healthy foods in schools.

  • ON Health

Q: What are the top 3 things that you do to stay healthy?

A: I drink Tumeric® ALIVE, practice yoga, and laugh a lot.

  • ON Health

Q: In theory, one should prioritize their own health in order to be in the best state to take care of others (family, kids, work, etc.). But in reality, I’ve found that women often take care of themselves last. What are your thoughts on this?

A: My philosophy is that by nurturing myself, I allow myself to be fully immersed in the lives of others.

  • ON Travel

Q: What place in the world has the most sentimental value to you and why?

A: Nantucket, Massachusetts. It’s where I’ve had some of the most profound experiences of my life. For me, it’s purely magical.

  • ON Travel

Q: In the world…what are your: 3 Favorite Destinations? 3 Favorite Places to Get Lost? 3 Favorite Places to Shop? 3 Favorite Restaurants?

    A: Destinations:  Nantucket, Tuscany, Maui

Places to get lost:  My studio, yoga practice, with friends

To shop:  Whole Foods, Intermix, and Sephora

Restaurants:  The Standard Grill, L’escale, Il Bucco

  • ON Relationships

Q: What are the most significant relationships in your life?

A: My mom, dad, sister, and best friend Daniel Sullivan.

  • ON Style

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Classic, chic with an edge.

  • ON Style

Q: Who are your favorite designers?

A: Marchesa, Monika Chiang, and Isabel Marant.

  • ON Cooking & Food

Q: If you love to cook, can you share a favorite recipe(s)?

A: I love simple, fresh, organic food with tons of cold pressed olive oil and Himalayan sea salt.

  • ON Cooking & Food

Q: If you were stranded on an island and could have an unlimited source of 3 foods (and calories were not a concern), what would they be?

A: Dark chocolate, cashew butter, and kettle corn popcorn.

  • ON Beauty

Q: What are the beauty items you could not live without?

A: La Mer tinted moisturizer, Fresh mascara, and cocoa butter.
