Dream Big! Thoughts Become Things
Two weeks into launch, I am amazed to see what was only a thought a year+ ago become a reality today. Granted in this period, there were thousands of hard working hours filled with blood, sweat and self doubt, but for the most part, what got me through the turbulence was going back to the big dream and vision of the new career I wanted for myself. So my intention for you this week is to take some time to dream because thoughts eventually turn into actual things! Vision is made up of thoughts and where vision goes, energy flows. Where energy flows, attention and actions go. Where actions go, alignments and adjustments (however tiny) are made towards your goal and before you know it, you’ll be one step closer to your dream than you were before. Without possibility there is no reality, so the question is what are you going to make possible in your life? If you don’t end up exactly where you imagined, trust me that you will end up where you were meant to.
And if taking a risk is what’s holding you back, check out what these remarkable women have said.

Author & Speaker, Unbinding the Heart
I reach out to a spirit that knows no fear and is expansive. I play this game with myself where I imagine the year 3005, where none of this really matters and I shift my perspective to the bigger picture. If a part of me still gets nervous and I get butterflies in my stomach, I acknowledge it but I don’t give it energy, because I believe we are bigger than our feelings and as my mother used to say, “We need to connect with our Giant Self.”

I was beset with the “imposter syndrome” for a big chunk of my life. It’s taken me a long time to know myself and trust myself, especially in moments that call for taking a risk. My friend, Eve Ensler, the creator of the Vagina Monologues, said something to me once that helped me finally conquer my insecurities…she came to see that everyone “is just making it up as they go along”—presidents, CEOs, leaders all over the world…Those at the top get there because they believe in their own dreams. And by believing in them, they make them come true. So, I am now much more comfortable leaping into the unknown with only a dream to fill my sails.
